The itinerary of 4 days from Fes to Marrakech
First day : Fes - ifran - Middle Atlas - Ziz valley - Merzouga:
We will pick you up from your accommodation at 8:00 am and drive southward in order to get to the desert of Merzouga by crossing the middle atlas mountains and making several stops on the way to visit important places on the way such as Ifrane, Cedar forest when located wild apes, and Ziz valley for a panoramic view of the palm groves.
In the late afternoon, we will arrive at Merzouga village where we check in our hotel near the sand dunes for the first night, which gives you an opportunity to walk into the dunes to see the sunset or the sunrise the next morning. accommodation & dinner at a traditional hotel.
Second day : Tour around the desert - Camel ride and nigt in the desert camp
The first visit will be Khamlia village where we will stop to listen to the live Gnawa music, then we continue to an old village where located the lead mines in the black mountains we will have some free time to explore before we continue to visit a Berber nomadic family where we will have a cup of tea under their traditional tent and to get to know about their way of life.
In the afternoon we inter the Erg-Chebbi dunes by riding camels in order to watch the sunset and spend an overnight in the desert camp. Dinner at the camp and Berber drumming music around the campfire.
Third day : Merzouga – Rissani – Todra gorges - Ouarzazate:
In the morning, you must wake up early and walk into the dunes to watch a spectacular sunrise and have fun sandboarding before breakfast. cross the dunes again by camels back to Merzouga village where you will meet your driver to continue your journey to Rissani which is a traditional market where the local nomads meet to buy their needs and to sell some animals such as goats.
We go to Ouarzazate but fisrt we will stop at Tingher to visit Todra gorges where you can walk and explore its canyon, then we will continue to Ouarzazate via Dades valley, rose valley until we reach Ouarzazate, we will stop at Kasbah Taourite to take some pictures before we check in to our accommodation in Ouarzazate.
Fourth day : Ouarzazate – Ait ben Haddou – High atlas Mountains – Marrakech:
After breakfast, we leave Ouarzazate behind to visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, one of the best-known fortified cities in the world, famous for having appeared in films such as Gladiator. a visit to the ruins of the kasbah to discover its secrets.
Continuing our journey to cross the Atlas through the incredible Tizi n’Tichka road pass, 2,260 meters high and we will drop off you at Marrakech.
