Itinerary:

Day 1: Ouarzazate → Drâa Valley → Zagora (3 hours drive, 120 km)
Depart from Ouarzazate and head towards the Drâa Valley, one of Morocco’s most stunning oases. As you drive through this lush valley, admire the palm trees, ancient kasbahs, and scenic landscapes. Stop at Agdz and Tamnougalt, where you’ll explore traditional Berber architecture and visit the fortified kasbahs that have stood for centuries. Continue south to Zagora, known as the gateway to the Sahara Desert. In the afternoon, enjoy a camel trek through the desert dunes, heading towards a desert camp where you will spend the night. Enjoy a traditional dinner, followed by Berber music and stargazing under the desert sky.

Day 2: Zagora → Foum Zguid → Ouarzazate (4 hours drive, 230 km)
Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the desert dunes, a breathtaking sight that captures the serenity of the Sahara. After breakfast at the camp, ride your camel back to Zagora, then continue your journey back to Ouarzazate via Foum Zguid. Along the way, enjoy the stunning desert landscapes and rocky plateaus that characterize Morocco’s southern regions. There will be optional stops to visit local crafts markets or sightseeing spots. Arrive in Ouarzazate in the afternoon, concluding your short but memorable desert adventure.
