The itinerary of 2 Days tour from Marrakech to Zagora
First day : Marrakech - High Atlas - Kasbah Ait Ben-haddou - Zagora:
In the morning after having breakfast we will pick you up at your Riad/Hotel at 8 am as a very interesting day full of culture awaits us, we will go towards Ouarzazate crossing the Tizi’n Tichka mountain pass at 2,260 meters of altitude, which joins Marrakesh with the city of Ouarzazate through the High Atlas and which is the main highest mountain pass in North Africa.
The first stop will be at the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou (World Heritage) and well known for the filming of many famous movies such as Gladiator, Ubilex, etc…, our trip will continue towards the Draa Valley (the largest valley in Morocco), As the journey passes, we can enjoy the thousands of kasbahs that there are during the journey.
In the afternoon, we will arrive at the gate of the desert of Zagora, where we will leave the car and the camels will wait for us to take us through the desert to spend the night in the tents in the middle of nowhere, there we will have dinner and but before sleeping we can enjoy the tranquility and the starry sky that the desert offers us.
Second day : Zagora – Ouarzazate – Kasbah of Taourirt – Marrakech:
We will get up early to be able to see the beautiful sunrise and after breakfast and shower. we will continue to visit the town of Tamgrout, known for its green pottery and its narrow streets that turn it into a labyrinth of tunnels.
We will continue our trip through the Draa Valley and the Tamnougalt Oasis, arriving at the town of Agdz (famous for its kasbah), we will arrive late in the afternoon at Marrakech where we will leave you at your accommodation.
