The itinerary of 5 Days tour from Fes to Marrakech
First day : Fes - Middle Atlas - Ziz valley - Merzouga:
We will start our 5 days desert tour from Fes with pick up from your accommodation in Fes and head to Merzouga desert, we will have a stop in Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco to enjoy the beauty of this town. then afterward will stop to see the wild monkeys in the cedar forest of Azrou. Continuing to Midelt for a lunch meal in a restaurant. In the afternoon, we will cross the pass of Tizi n Tlghamt in the middle Atlas mountains to reach Ziz valley where we will have a stop for a panoramic view of the valley.
In the afternoon we will arrive at village of Merzouga where we will check in our hotel near the sand dunes for the first night, you can walk into the dunes to see the sunset over the dunes if we arrive before the sunset. accommodation & dinner at a traditional hotel.
Second day : Full day in the desert ( Off-roading, Camel riding, and desert camping )
On the second day of our desert trip, we will have a full day in the desert by 4wd car in order to visit Khamlia village to listen to the Gnawa music, and the lead mines to see where the local people work in the minerals, then to a nomadic family in the desert to get to know their way of life and to have a cup of tea under their authentic tent.
In the afternoon, we will cross the dunes of Erg-Chebbi by riding camels to get to the desert camp where we will spend the night in the desert, on the way to the camp by camel we will stop and climb the dunes to see an amazing view of the sunset from the middle of the desert. once we get to the camp we will have dinner and we will enjoy the Berber drums music around the campfire.
Third day : Merzouga – Rissani – Todra gorges - Dades Valley :
Today, you must get up early in the morning to see a stunning sunrise over the dunes, and have fun sandboarding in the dunes. and after breakfast at the camp, we will return by riding camels to Merzouga village.
We will stop to visit Rissani which is an old traditional market where the locals of the Berber villages meet to sell and buy their needs, then we head to Todra gorges to have free time to explore the canyon and then to Dades valley where we will spend the night at a guesthouse or hotel in Dades gorges.
Fourth day : Dades valley – Boutghrar - Roses Town - Skoura - Ouarzazate
Today we travel to Ouarzazate, but first, we will take an off-road to Boutaghrar village. A place where nature and color meet, the path will take us to the nomads who live in caves, we visit them, and have a cup of tea with them.
We will continue our way to the roses valley in Kelaa M’gouna. Lunch, then we leave for the palm grove of Skoura, visit of the Kasbah Amridil, and arrived at Ouarzazate, we will visi Kasbah taourirt then continue to our accommodation for the night at a riad or guest house.
